FOSTA
Looking at getting a thermal gasket for my inlet manifold but do they actually lower intake temps? :/

Tricky-Ricky
IMO no! trying to isolate a particular engine part to reduce temps is a waste of time, especially if the part in question has a large thermal mass and they sit on top of higher heat sources, if its a part that has a high airflow like a plenum or pipe connected to a plenum your better off relying on the boundary layer effect to help keep things cool.
