syco
had a couple of rides in the dark now and unless I put hi beam on, can not tell they are hardly on, even in country lanes. Are supra lights not very good as std or does the plastic discolouring really make the light omitted that poor, as mine are quite yellowish. On the first ride i actually got out to see if they were working.but all seems well other than the poor light. when they are on hi that seems to be on par with normal on my other cars. thanks
Ric
The stock ones are crap. You can get a set of HID's for around 40quid from amazon which are OK, i've had them in my last 3 supras, 5000k/kelvin is the best for a modern look but still bright, any higher and they go blue/dimmer. CraigMoSupraRSP
I had a similar issue....turned out that I hadn't actually twisted the switch on the stock all the way to put the dipped beam on! [emoji4] was just driving with the hi-beam then the small light in the headlight unit plus the sidelight in the indicator....felt a bit of a twat to be honest. [emoji23] easy mistake to make but am used to the stalk as same on my mr2, plus i double checked as was puzzling me.thought i was missing something simple. salaar
Are you saying that the lights are on but you can't see anything? They might not be dipped. I had to get a wrench and turn these little pins behind the lights under the bonnet to make them dip.

When you say not dipped, do you mean the light pattern is facing upwards hence you adjusted them to face down towards road? To be honest even when lit up against the wall the light was still poor till hi beam selected.
