When I was looking a couple of months ago an R154 stage 4 was about £600?

The one in the pictures is one for an RPS13 180SX with an SR20DET?

I assume it's for a W58 at that price! Good price none the less, good saving from buying new if it only has £300 miles on it :)

Hi goldenvtr, I have just PM'd you but for the benefit of other interested parties i just want to say that the clutch issue for people in the know comes down to "horses for courses", basically my stage 4 clutch was fitted correctly and operated correctly, and will never slip even at high torques etc, the clutch is as new with all parts, BUT the driver has to accept the harsh driveability, many members accept this, i could not and decided to risk a stage 2 clutch, a stock kind of drive ability, BUT yes it may slip in the future, it's just a matter of knowing what you want, i regret me not knowing what i wanted when i agreed my spec with the NA/T converter.

If some one who wants the competition stage 4 clutch because they know they drive hard or compete, then i have a bargain total kit for sale.

My postings should give you information and confidence, i had neither when i chose the type of clutch i wanted. Good luck. herbiemercman.

Hi Dan, Yur clutch arrived at 1446 today signed for by Keeling. You got a real bargain and i hope you can tolerate the driveability, it certainly will never wear out or slip, my NA/T guy will only use this type of clutch, he has had the organic fibre ones returned and had to change them, i am going to nurse mine, well at least on take off, NOT when i am motoring etc.

Let me know how you get on, thanks for buying my clutch assembly and being a good communicator. Herbie.

all received thanks, will pick it up from delivery address Monday and check it over before fitting. then its time to crank my hx35's boost up and pray the w58 lasts untill at least next summer.

its not the drivability im worried about but its the abuse the gearbox will take. i've got an unsprung ACT padle clutch in my starlet and a similar sprung version in my mx5 turbo... but unlike mx5's and starlets, supra parts are expensive lol i.e my last mx5 gearbox was £20 haha
