Idiot on the Nurburgring

Thanks for sharing that, reminds me that despite it being something on my bucket list to drive the ring, that there is a good reason not to do it too!

Now I dont proclaim to be a driving god, and have nill track time but a few points, the guy is obviously a tool driving atrociously and far beyond his capability.

But putting that aside for a second, one how poorly is that car set up, to be that out of shape on some of those turns. Also what on good earth is the guy in the passenger seat thinking, sat there so indifferent about his mates skills?! I wouldn't set foot anywhere near my mate if that is how he drove, let alone on the Nurburgring!

The moment of him trying to pass the Porsche on the wrong side, my heart was in my throat.

Guys like this are the reason I would never take my Supra on the track. I'm too inexperienced and would feel vulnerable while I find my feet.

Did I imagine it or did he have a cigarette hanging from his mouth at one point? What an idiot... it's good to see him getting destroyed in the comments.

The car looked fine, IMO. He was just far too aggressive. The 'lift-off-over-steer' technique for FWD cars doesn't take a lot a lot of effort and you need to get back on the power to pull yourself out of it. To me, he looked like a clueless arcade racer.

Running before you learn how to walk comes to mind. The sheer amount of buffoons that attend the Ring have put me off. Too many rich dicks in powerful cars who don't know how to handle them and inexperienced drivers pushing too hard too soon.

Went to the Ring a few years back with some very experienced drivers and had an awesome time. Didn't get to drive as my car was off the road but my mate took me round for a few hot laps in his modified RS4. Unfortunately a guy died on the track the weekend we were there.

It deserves a lot respect.

It says it's a compilation of his most exciting moments. It's more a compilation of how cheap stylised sunglasses and an apparent problem that should be checked out by an optician means he can't see yellow flags, has a total disregard for marshals and other track user, has a unique way of going slowly whilst looking as if he's about to have the mother and father of accidents, and has arm movements like a Jew talking to the tax man. He also looks smug, foreign and in need of a good beating. Daily. He probably smells like a tart, too. Can't say I take to the guy, sorry.

Yup, crap driver. He'd of binned it on the first corner in a rwd car. He obviously never realised what was causing the lift off oversteer, as he was totally surprised by it each time it happened. Looked like the stability control saved him on a few occasions, as he totally let off the power rather than keep it on to correct it. His lack of any heel-toe really is really annoying, no mechanical sympathy at all.
