The bbs don't leave a mark on your clothes if that's what you mean. It's all honour based and sometimes people cheat. Also sometimes it looks like you should have hit the other player, when in reality the bb fell out of the air and rolled to the floor near them. That probably causes more arguments than people cheating...

I had it once, no argument, just shot them more and aim for the areas that hurt lol

Small weapon upgrade yesterday after the postie had been.

Treated the MP5 to a top rail and Red dot sight. Also have a fixed position Stock on order to replace the damaged adjustable one and Lens protector for the sight,

The now tan/black G17, decided to give mine a lick of paint too :D

Off again this Sunday to a game, taking my little brother along (because he's a better shot than me!)

I need to get my ass into gear once my gun is fixed.

Been looking into grenades too. This hobby just gets dearer. Lol

I don't bother with primer grenades (oshiboom etc), paper pyro is accepted at more sites and has fewer restrictions on how you throw it. Save the money and put it towards a different gun when you inevitably decide you want one :D. Indoors the Mk5 thunderflash is my go-to pyro, outdoors it's a ball grenade. I'd take a pair of ball grenades or thermobarics indoors as well for long throws, thunderflashes aren't heavy enough for that. I've been using TLSFX for the last few years, works well and reasonably priced.

I found the Thunder Flashes good for room clearing when we were at the mall. Just wish i had more on the day lol

A solid state would be good too i think

I thought without a UKARA liscence you can only use your own guns if they are painted in a green colour so it resembles a toy gun?

when i last looked, you could buy a gun from authorised places, but without a UKARA liscence number they would only send it in green

Maybe things have changed

I went a few years ago, was good fun but i didnt realise it was taken so seriously by some people, one guy was in his late 40s and had marker pen stripes and his face like "arnie" in commando

In all honesty the UKARA is daft, it just give you a go to if the old bill come knocking...

Nothing stopping people painting them afterwards really...

You do need the membership to buy the unpainted ones, but to go and play, you dont to my knowledge. I wasnt asked at the mall for anything.

Some guys do take it very seriously lol

You can buy them in a few different approved colours (the colours are specified in the VCRA) without UKARA or similar approved defence. The colour must cover more than 51% of the body of the weapon.

UKARA doesn't matter when using the RIF, it's just buying and selling them, although it can help if stopped on the way to an event. It is legal to own a RIF without a current UKARA. You still need to have a reasonable defence to be in possession of a RIF. The defence is generally that you are a regular skirmisher and are in transit to an approved event, or you are taking the RIF to a maintenance professional by appointment. God help you if you leave it in the boot of your car and drive around with it.

So I could happily lend my non-painted RIF to a friend at an event, or purchase one as a parent and give it to my child to use under my supervision at an event, even if they were not UKARA members or legally able to buy a RIF.

As with all things where you are likely to be shot by mistake by an armed officer, better safe than sorry :D

Finally got round to relocating the battery to the stock.

Had to strip the whole thing down to reroute the wiring...

Thought it would be rude not to get the paint out whilst there and get rid of the awful Blue colour,

End result with the new 2 point strap.

Also have some more parts on order that should land in the next 2-3 weeks :)
