Fitz
Hey Guys, Thought I'd share this with you all, some may already be aware but for those who aren't. There is a malicious IKEA email going around titled "Thank you for your order!" with a word document attachment positioned as a receipt for your purchase. Now the email (as always) looks like it is from IKEA, full branding and layout and in this instance has an email suffix of '@ikea.com' to make you less the wiser, however IKEA operate in the UK under '.co.uk' The malicious word attachment, contains a botnet known as 'Dridex' and is a banking trojan used to steal your banking login and passwords, then subsequently it will also install the 'Shifu' banking malware on the host system. If you do receive this email, delete it. If you do open it, do not open the word document. If anybody is unfortunate enough to have opened the doc and enabled editing or Macros - then I'd advise you to run your antivirus and have your computer cleaned. After that, change your passwords for your online banking. http://myonlinesecurity.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Ikea-Thank-you-for-your-order-1024x479.png
