Scott
Just watched the first two episodes of Lucifer - much, much better than I was expecting! I seen that advertised but I wasn't sure what to make of it. Think I'll give it a go
jamesmark
We watch Still Game every year on the lead up to Christmas (not sure why), it's amazing. Prison Break..... hmm, 1st 2 seasons were pretty good (1st especially). I've been watching the new X-Files and I'm caught in 2 minds with it. This weeks episode was just plain weird and more comedy than anything. The first 2 episodes knocks everything on it's head and then just kinda get on with it as if nothing particularly big happened. I guess that's what was needed to light the fire again but it's a little nonchalant the way it's been done. Once we get passed Prison Break I have promised the wife I will watch all X-Files then onto the new one. Will probably appreciate the new one as Gillian Anderson .................oh my. Wez
Watched The Expanse. Started off ropey but quickly became very good after a couple episodes. I stopped watching it, could have been a lot better I thought. Just watched the first two episodes of Lucifer - much, much better than I was expecting! Seems pretty good so far. Scott
Anyone watch making a murderer? We finished it and have been left in absolute shock and awe with just how blatantly screwed those guys got by the justice system. Corrupt cops or not, the courts should have saw right through all of that nonsense.

Corrupt cops or not, the courts should have saw right through all of that nonsense. I watched them all over 3 nights as I couldn't wait to watch the next one! Shocking how he's been shafted, or certainly seems to be. Makes you detest certain people in that doc while watching.
Scott
I just started watching Suits recently. What a show, absolutely brilliant. The charisma of the main characters is spot on and they're really endearing to the viewer. Ripped through the first season in 3 days lol. I'm still enjoying the following: Arrow - Scoop the brain out action show. Comic book hero without any superpowers. Goes hand in hand with the Flash. Felicity Smoak is smoking! Ash Vs the Evil Dead - This finished recently but I really enjoyed it. You need to be an Evil Dead and a Bruce Campbell fan to enjoy this, if you are.... you'll love it! Daredevil - I watched this a while back but thought I would mention it again as I believe Season 2 is coming. Much darker than most shows on TV and they don't always go in the direction you think they will. Very refreshing IMO and I loved the show. Elementary - Modern day Sherlock Holmes, pretty decent and good fun at times. Limitless - It's a little soft compared to how it started off but the characters are all fairly likeable. Guy takes pill which makes him a complete genius, spin off from the film. Lucifer - This is really enjoyable, the main character is brilliant. Quirky fun humour and very easy to follow, good old brain out fun with the Devil. What's not to like? Sherlock - New season is about to start filming. If you haven't watched this I seriously recommend you give it a go. Don't have any misconceptions about this. In my opinion there's one poor episode and it can only be considered poor in comparison to the other Sherlocks as it's still a good watch. Slight downfall is 90 minute long episodes, my Wife struggled. Suits - Aforementioned. Really getting into this. Supergirl - I know... I know.... but I'm a huge Superman fan. There's hot chicks in it too. It's definitely not for everyone though, you should know from the title if you will like it The Flash - Much the same as Arrow to be honest. He mostly fights criminals with powers. Strange how he is one of VERY few "good" guys to gain powers from a lightening storm The X-Files - The new season is a bit strange for me. I'm enjoying it but I didn't get the nostalgic feeling that I was expecting. The 3rd episode is down right bizarre. Things I need to get back into: From Dusk Till Dawn - I fairly enjoyed the first season of this but I fell away in the 2nd. I'll probably take it up again when I'm really bored Minority Report - I watched a few episodes of this but it didn't draw me in enough to keep going with the other stuff I have on. Looks decent enough though. True Detective - I've heard people raving about this. I tried the first episode but I found it really boring. Given the reviews I need to try this one again. Vikings - I watched the first 2 seasons and quite enjoyed it. Again, not enough pull for me right now but I will go back to it. Once we get passed Prison Break I have promised the wife I will watch all X-Files then onto the new one. Will probably appreciate the new one as Gillian Anderson .................oh my. X-Files is a tricky one. Don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE fan and I love the series.... but I tried to watch them all back to back a few years back and I got really sick of the show. It's a lot to take in in one purge to be honest. Best spread out over a while
Wez
The X-Files is very strange, the acting is quite bad and like you said the last EP was damn right odd Check out a series called Second Chance
Style
I'm just about to start season 9 of the X-Files in a catch up marathon I've been doing for a few months now. I've only watched the mythology timeline episodes though so it's only about 6 per season. The Mrs has lost interest but I'm just sticking it out now so I can see what the new stuff is all about. Doesn't sound like it's up to much but I've come this far Walking Dead re-commenced at the beginning of the week with a right old bang. Was getting a bit fed up of it tbh as they've kind of run out of things you can do during a zombie apocalypse and it's just rinse and repeat now. But this episode has shaken things up a bit
Wez
The new EP of Walking Dead was a bit of a shocker

Style
Latest episode of X-Files (EP5) is terrible The middle 4 I've not got high hopes for, just the first and sixth mythology episodes which I'm at least hoping to get some enjoyment out of. Monsters of the week episodes don't do much for me other than some comedy. There's some complete stinkers dotted about the entire franchise unfortunately
Scott
Checking out Second Chance as the Wife now wants to watch Suits with me The middle 4 I've not got high hopes for, just the first and sixth mythology episodes which I'm at least hoping to get some enjoyment out of. Monsters of the week episodes don't do much for me other than some comedy. There's some complete stinkers dotted about the entire franchise unfortunately The first episode may send you through a bit of a loop as it pretty much makes everything you are watching pointless
Shane
Did anyone else on here watch Deutschland 83? I did and really enjoyed it, despite being in German with UK subtitles. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutschland_83 I thought I wouldn't be able to keep interested in it with subtitles but was soon hooked. Thought the ending was terrible, left wide open for a reason I guess.
Scott
I've finished the x-files. It's like a smash and grab, if you're not a huge fan then don't bother at all..... you'll be very disappointed. I'm really struggling for something new to watch. I started the black list but it's not hooking me in. Suits is still the best thing I'm watching by a mile right now, but I'm watching that with the Wife so I don't get to power through episodes. I think I'll go back to House and start that again
Style
Have you watched Sons of Anarchy Scott? It's up there with Breaking Bad (bold statement, I know) IMO. I finished watching the last episode and just sat, staring at the ground for about an hour trying to come to terms with the fact it was over I'm needing some brain dead comedy to watch as I've just finished Brooklyn 99, Archer and Parks and Rec
Scott
I did but I fell away from it on season 6. It was just too much of the same old roundabout on a bigger scale for me. I was bored after 2/3 seasons but I stuck with it till I just fell away from it. Same happened with Dexter for me. For Comedy I cycle Friends, Scrubs & Still Game

The last season was wild, it did have it's ups and downs though so can see what you mean. Scrubs is a shout, not watched them in ages! ozz
I've been watching Hannibal over the past few weeks, very good. Can't watch too many in one go as it's a little sick at times - you really have to wonder about the author. Speaking of the author, it doesn't do a bad job of following Red Dragon - more so really in the third series. Some really nasty scenes though! I was watching Falling Skies, not brilliant but very watchable. Annoyingly I got up to series I think 4 of 5 and Sky have pulled it.

Style
Just hoping this Neegan dude isn't the Governor all over again. Something drastic needs to happen or they're just going to go round in circles with the storyline
JasonR24
Just watching that's so 1990 on channel 4 and I cannot believe the downward spiral. Worth a watch if you want an interesting look back!
