ripped_fear
Looking awesome Jake, attention to detail is outstanding as always Thanks mate. The head liner after a night sat in the bedroom in the heating has tightened now to so rather happy. Looking forward to having a nosey at your re-trimmed items at the NEC mate. Feel free mate. After a few beers they will look professional hahaha

ripped_fear
Boring update, but obviously with the headliner I couldnt fit grey sun visors, so I needed to get these swapped. Ideally I needed some black uk spec ones, but they are rare as hens teeth and tbh I don't want the leatherette face lift ones, so to keep it uniformed it needs to blend with the suede. As I have a set of pre face lift ones spare, I decided I wanted to dye them. Now I hated my dyed carpet hence why it only staid in the car around a week, this was due to the over powering smell of said dye. Now I'm not about to stink the car out again with the fumes, so I needed a different dye, I then stumbled across another, and this one is near odourless! Have given them one coat just now, and they are looking good. Don't worry all plastics will be cleaned up and painted after dyeing is finished. ripped_fear
I went away for a couple of days but still managed to get a little bit done, centre lights stripped and painted. Behind where the glass goes is a bit rough. Also second coat of dye going on the visors this eve. Have cut some matt textured tape out to go over the warning signs on the visors. mharvey
I remember reading somewhere ages ago that visors from (I think it was) an Astra VXR? fitted and looked oem? They're black too. I think it was meant to be the last model and someone even wired in the lights that come on when you open the mirror cover. Looks like you've done a great job but just thought I'd share as an alternative or if you have issues with the dye. Great work all the same mate, keep it up. ripped_fear
So Thursday marked day 1 of 4 awesome days, as the car was on show at the NEC classic car show, along with Ian's, Greg's, and Baz's car. The Supra's were very well received, and the amount of attention the engine bay and the colour attracted was insane, was a very proud moment, and many people commented on how far the car had come in such a short space of time. Fell well and truly back in love with it, although the weekend had an unusual end as a gentleman approached me with an offer which I'm still currently considering. Big thanks to eveyone that made the stand what it was, and another thanks to all the members that swung by to say hi and have a catch up. Anyway here are some pictures from the 4 days The crowd!
