ripped_fear
Got the suspension tops painted as they were looking rough, much better now. Also painted the suspension bolts and changed all the stainless bolts on the wings for red/stainless ones. Over all a productive day off, lots of little annoying jobs done. I have a chrome-ringy thing for the gearstick if you want one Jake? I'll never fit it, went off of the look. Cheers James I will have a think, I was just going to do the 3 dial rings and thats it. Will drop you a buz.

ripped_fear
So as the weather today has been superb, it turned into a very productive day, and everything went nice and smooth. First order of the day, was to fit the shine auto Diffuser. I took it all apart and gave it a good clean the decided to tackle the fitting...Was dreading this job, as I thought I was going to have to cut up the carbon. Alas, I didn't, and used a quick spacer on the exhaust side bracket, and BOOM she fits straight on. Took a while to get everything fitting nice and flush/level, but got there in the end. Also used some padded tap on the end parts, to help cushion it against the lower part of the quarter panel, work brilliantly. Then I decided as I have a fair distance to travel for Japfest, I wanted some decent audio, so after some trimming to the speaker brackets, I wired in the fronts so now have 4 point audio as I'm supposed to. Even though they are only cheap pioneer GS-T1731i's they don't sound too bad. Then finally I fitted my new stainless suspension bolts and gave it another wipe over. Looks stunning and great colour Thanks buddy

Thanks mate, swing by shadow sport and say hi. I will be sure to come see the forum stand. Looking good as usual man, do one thing as it would bug me all day long, that upper glove box Thanks bud, It drives me mad too. Problem is the dash mounting is broken, and I need to replace the whole dash at some point. I will tackle that job at some time and have the dash re-trimmed at the same time. I considered just getting a guage pod for the time being but it isnt the looks I was going for.

ripped_fear
Ahhh crap Oh well, at least you get a new part ey Yeah its fine, little annoying as it had its heater matrix done so would have made sence to do it then but the previous owner swapped it to this one as the old one had gauge pod holes. Im planning on a full retrim any way. Looks fantastic mate, love the carbon trims. Thanks mate Carbon lip and half carbon TRD needed now I think

ripped_fear
So a little update, I broke my IACV VSV yesterday while swapping out a split vac line, so had to put the car into TTC which is different, but not for me so have bought another vsv. Also just got home from the Basingstoke meet which was good fun

ripped_fear
Nice pics again mate, are you planning on changing the indicators? Cheers mate. At this stage I'm not actually, I'm liking the orange against the blue and think it gives the car more of a US look. I want to add the US side repeaters at some point.
