But basically my new supra arrives hopefully in the week, and when it does I'm going to at some point want to have the rear arch's done to house an aggressive offset. Now on my current car I had them rolled by Arch enemy and to be fair they did a good job. But the car was on OE paint. My new one despite being prepared well when it had a full respray, it was not painted in an Oven and apparently the paint is rather hard due to being painted on a warm day in a unit. So because of this, I'm concerned if I have them rolled, is it going to crack badly and cause rust/paint flaking. The car will eventually be getting a full respray but for the time being will be staying as-is, for a minimum of a year, probably closer to two years. So the other option is cutting, if I have them cut, does this require welding after? Is it something that would be recommended to minimise paint issues instead of rolling? I'm not interested in having them flared so loosing that option after cutting is no big deal for me. Any opinions welcomed. Al Massey Posted October 19, 2015 Share Posted October 19, 2015 I've rolled many arches over the past 8 or so years and never had a problem or a complaint. But with rolling, you can only go so far.
