A01B LSD Differential

Due to swapping out my diff for the A02B, I have my Torsen A01B up for grabs!

No problems what so ever. Only thing to note is that I have swapped the smaller flange. and the large flange is now on the A01B, perfect straight swap if it's going on an Auto or V161 6 Speed. Otherwise the flange can be swapped back to your own smaller one.

Definitely a collection for this one, from Coventry, or I travel down to near Reading during the week for work, so I can meet you somewhere.

Ratio is 4.083:1

Haven't managed to get many pics but I have got a few with the cover removed.

£300

Cheers!

What's the difference between the A01B and the A02B I'm guessing one is the big case but what advantage does the 2B have over the 1B?

They both have the same small case. The big cases are the B01B etc. The A02B has a longer gear ratio, as I am swapping to the R154 box, it matches the ratios better in my opinion. The A01B has a shorter ratio, and is probably better suited to drag etc.

out of intrest if your currently w58 how to you rate the a02b compaired to the a01b?

Hi mate, I would say it feels more responsive to torque balance. I don't know if that's just me, but I find it launches smoother than the 01b. The gears are definitely a tad longer.. more so at higher gears. Overall I would say it's better, but it all really depends on what your goals are in regards to acceleration and top end speed.
