Not really in the club sprit to buy something from someone on here then post it fue months later for £150 over what you paid!

Not the first time this has happened and unfortunately it won't be the last. I looked at buying a manifold of a member on here who had it up for sale at £480. After a little searching I found out he bought it for £120 from another member who didn't realise what he had. The guy selling it wasn't the slightest bit bothered that he had been caught out and even denied buying it from the original member! Some people have no scruples. Yes as Jackyboi said his well within his rights to sell for what he won'ts but just takes the piss [emoji20] to try and make a profit on something you bid the original sale down by £50. I totally agree but you're right it does take the p155, I guess we were just spoilt on here years ago when the club and it's members were one. Now it appears that there are many out there who are only looking out for number 1 making Club Spirit a rare thing.
Scooter
Jesus talk about storm in a tea cup!? Bought for £600 selling for £750, bound to have expected to get chipped down might make £100? What about the latest price increases in the cars, you buy a members car a year or two back are you shafting members selling it for more now? They look in very very good condition, maybe they were previously sold cheap? Maybe they are too high now after all they didn't sell instantly. There is no shafting here there is an item there is a price, and it's likely without any comments the price agreed would have been very close to the previous sale price. If he only gets £300 in the end did Jackyboi stitch him up in the first place?
kevin smith
I will give him £300 for them.

Regardless of what he paid, and regardless of what he's asking, they're HIS wheels. Who's to say the guy he bought them from didn't sell them too cheap? If you don't like it, don't buy 'em. Supraleeturbo
I don't normally like to get involed in these cases but after speaking to the gentleman selling the wheels I can assure he's not a crook and a very decent bloke, if these are worth a grand 2nd hand then there a steal at 750, it may of cost him another 50-100 to get them picked up ect and has advertised them with a bit of room for negotiation! As we all know everyone haggles Glws sir very nice wheels

214supra
Probably worth mentioning I sold these for £600 to him with those same tyres, but obviously you're 100% entitled to list it for whatever you like Now let get honest here, When I collected these from you these were nowhere never as good as it is now, infact it's in a un love stage, you did'nt even bother to clean them before I pick them up ,tyres and rims are covered in muds and heavy brake dust inside out. This is how it looks now after many hours of polishing, and now sealed it with GTECHNIQ. As for the price. I take these as the current market price. there are currently 3 sets for sale. Ebay... £975 Facebook....just slightly over £1000 Mine being the lowest £750. supra mat... if you were to sell your Supra now . do you put it up at the current market price or the price when you first bought???? you get P*SS OFF cos some one making a few pounds??? wonder what happen when the other guy bought one of my property recently, after finding out how much I payed at auction, he probably hang himself then LOL. Spunkmeyer
How to Tarnish a for sale thread. the price is relative to the current market, availability, location and condition. arguing over £30 is pathetic £750 £680 £650 £600 disappointing - if out of principle you didn't pay the £30 extra, take your money elsewhere but spend £50 extra for less ideal location, shipping, collection, condition whatever.. who's the mug then. Maybe If you'd pm'd the seller to explain your new found knowledge without splashing it all over the thread you may have even got them for £650 after all. No need to explain yourself Phil. They're your wheels, and you've spent time and money restoring them to a good condition (cant comment on what they were like before as havent seen but from your description they didn't sound too great). Also, they're still cheaper than the other sets of wheels for sale... Like Ben says, if you don't like the price - don't buy them

I wasn't having a dig mate, simply stating that you're asking £150 more for cleaning them. But as I said previously - I don't care what you list them for and neither should anyone else because they're yours now
