gordy.r
For anyone that is interested, I ordered a new Lexus V8 oil filter for the Supra today (first time trying one out on the old girl) and the stock number I have has been superseded with the following code: 90915-YZZJ4 Should save any hassle for those who use these. Price is £13 odd.
ripped_fear
Why are these any better than the OEM recommended TT or NA ones? Just curious.
gordy.r
Why are these any better than the OEM recommended TT or NA ones? Just curious. From what I gleaned from a few searches online and on here, they are larger, offer better filtration and are supposedly better than the trd filters too. I think it's a personal preference but I thought I'd try it this oil change and see how it goes.

evinX
I used to use these on my old supra and my current when I first got it, I started to use the k&n PS-1002 for less than £5 delivered to my door. Works fine. Some Toyota stuff isn't worth buying anymore due to price. £5 disposable item from a reputable company. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/K-N-OE-Replacement-Performance-Oil-Filter-Toyota-Suzuki-Saab-Mazda-Lexus-PS-1002-/301750440453?hash=item4641ba5205
Big Mark
I wonder if there is K & N version of the larger Lexus filter?
evinX
I want one of these washable reusable oil filters!! not for £250 bob though. Having a bloody laugh, how does that help?! http://www.knfilters.co.uk/search/product.aspx?prod=ss-1002 And yes there are longer k&n oil fiters for the supra, HP-1002 with the hex on the end for a spanner and many more...find the thread size and go looking at sizes.... j_jza80
Opie Oils sell both types for the Supra, iirc I paid £12 for the larger one a few weeks ago.
