shezzy
Has anyone fitted a Bee R limiter to an N/A for some reason the one i just got installed is not cutting ignition off for the Limiter to do its job. Its just for temp until i get the turbo in after winter. Wiring diagram or pics of one installed will be perfect.

a98pmalcolm
I hear there not good for the car... I made a post a few years ago about it and was told to stay away from them.
shezzy
Its not a turbo and supra engines are pretty solid from what i have asked. Will be great if someone can tell me where the wires should be going into so i can check if the unit is faulty or a wire is wrong
ripped_fear
I never fitted one but I do have copy of the pin outs and where to splice too. Courtesy of another member.

ripped_fear
This is what I was sent by a member, I havent tried and tested it myself so hold no responsibility if its wrong and somthing goes pear shaped. Earth/black wire on bee r - pin4 on plug e9 Positive/red on bee r - pin 32 on plug e10 RPM/yellow wire bee r - pin58 plug e9 Igniter/distributor feed/green - pin 27 plug e9 Obviously the white wire you hook up to your handbrake wire is straight forward enough as its only 1 wire. Suprakeith
I have a bee r rev limiter on my na and have had it fitted for few years and use it often and have had no problems with it at all
shezzy
I have a bee r rev limiter on my na and have had it fitted for few years and use it often and have had no problems with it at all Hey buddy thats good news for me mind helping me out on the diagram is it same as above. As the one i have fitted is not cutting the ignition out for the bangs it just revs beyond the revs that have been set
Suprakeith
I didn't wire mine in I got a mate to do it as electrics really aren't my thing. What Have you got the Rev 2 set to? As that controls the Rev limit when hand brake on
shezzy
I didnt connect handbrake yet as the rev one i set to 3000 revs and it still revved beyond that or do i have to connect the handbrake cable for rev 1 to work aswel?
Suprakeith
I know you have to connect it for Rev 2 and you may have to connect for the Rev 1 as then it knows handbrake off so knows to use set Rev limit
berg
It will work without the handbrake connected, only rev 1 will work The above diagram is correct and exactly how i ran mine on my old na-t for over a year without problems When the revs get to the desired rpm, check the light on the bee r unit flashes, some units can go wrong and not cut when they should, but normally the light will not flash if thats the case

How well did it work on your N/A
berg
Only thing to check is the gain is not set to 0 as this essentially stops the unit from working If its not then im not sure why yours isnt working, maybe the unit is faulty somehow I had no issues with the one i had few years ago worked fine Yellow rpm wire is fine as its reading that if its flashing, check the green IGF signal wire is a good connection
shezzy
I noticed there is 2 IGF in and out is it correct as its been attached to i think number 58 and yellow is 27 red is attached to 1 or 2 and earth i cant remember what he attached it to. berg
Yellow wire goes to pin 58 IGF (think the ecu wire is brown) Green goes to pin 27 NE (if memory serves me the ecu wire is black) Power and ground are obviously right otherwise it wouldnt light up

Was the Bee R limiter any good when u had on ur supra
berg
Yer worked well very loud, mine was an n/a with a single turbo conversion though, not sure how well they work on a standard n/a Would never use one on my TT though ceramic turbos would probably melt
