Has anyone fitted a Bee R limiter to an N/A for some reason the one i just got installed is not cutting ignition off for the Limiter to do its job. Its just for temp until i get the turbo in after winter. Wiring diagram or pics of one installed will be perfect.

This is what I was sent by a member, I havent tried and tested it myself so hold no responsibility if its wrong and somthing goes pear shaped.

Earth/black wire on bee r - pin4 on plug e9

Positive/red on bee r - pin 32 on plug e10

RPM/yellow wire bee r - pin58 plug e9

Igniter/distributor feed/green - pin 27 plug e9

Obviously the white wire you hook up to your handbrake wire is straight forward enough as its only 1 wire.

I have a bee r rev limiter on my na and have had it fitted for few years and use it often and have had no problems with it at all

Hey buddy thats good news for me mind helping me out on the diagram is it same as above. As the one i have fitted is not cutting the ignition out for the bangs it just revs beyond the revs that have been set

It will work without the handbrake connected, only rev 1 will work

The above diagram is correct and exactly how i ran mine on my old na-t for over a year without problems

When the revs get to the desired rpm, check the light on the bee r unit flashes, some units can go wrong and not cut when they should, but normally the light will not flash if thats the case

Thanx berg the red light does flash when revved to the set amount but the revs continue beyond the set amount on the speedo and i dont know why it doesnt cut ignition to let the banging start. How well did it work on your N/A

Only thing to check is the gain is not set to 0 as this essentially stops the unit from working

If its not then im not sure why yours isnt working, maybe the unit is faulty somehow

I had no issues with the one i had few years ago worked fine

Yellow rpm wire is fine as its reading that if its flashing, check the green IGF signal wire is a good connection

Yellow wire goes to pin 58 IGF (think the ecu wire is brown)

Green goes to pin 27 NE (if memory serves me the ecu wire is black)

Power and ground are obviously right otherwise it wouldnt light up

Cheers mate i think it could be a faulty unit as wiring is correct. Was the Bee R limiter any good when u had on ur supra

Yer worked well very loud, mine was an n/a with a single turbo conversion though, not sure how well they work on a standard n/a

Would never use one on my TT though ceramic turbos would probably melt

Appreciate your help berg. I just wanted it on for abit of fun before i go single turbo. 😉
