adnanshah247
So finally got my aristo vvti single to start but as you turn the key the cars automatically revs it's nuts off all the way past 5k-6k rpm. I quickly shut it off every time but seriously stuck now. It's had:- New fuel pump New sard 650cc injectors New plugs Timing checked everything perfect and loads more Whilst revving as if it's possessed the engine sounds sweet as a nut ..... DT125
check for a split o ring on the end of the injectors
mellonman
Have you actually physically check the position of the throttle body butterfly? Only thing that would make it rev like that spings to my mind or ecu maybe even the cruise control
DT125
you dont have to remove the injectors get a old spray bleach plastic can or similar . fill it up with water then spray down near the end of the injectors . If the revving stopes then its the o rings
David P
If it's not the butterfly open, is the ICV plugged in? if not it will default to fully open. That is if a VVTI has one?

David P
I've not tinkered with a VVTI variant, yet disconnecting the battery for a while should reset ECU functions.
Scott
Inlet pipe off and have a peak at the throttle body to see where it's at.
