DT125
I just fitted a new wideband kit and on boost the ratio is 11.1 to sometimes drops to 10.4 . Does anyone know if this is normal ?
Tricky-Ricky
Perfectly normal for the std ECU.
DT125
ok cheers mate . so if I run 1.2 bar 11 to 10 is ok ?
Tricky-Ricky
The std ECU will run the injectors at 100% DC when it sees over 4.2v air flow signal for safety, at 1.2 bar as long as you don't see any leaner than 11.8 you should be fine. berg
dipping into 10s seem a bit rich to me, what spec? My current BPU and my old single never went into 10s, always mid 11s on full throttle, odd time i did see low 11s, high 13s cruising and mid 14s on idle

Thats very lean . Also of the scale over 16 or 18 on costing very rich . Is that normal too ?
berg
Its the opposite way round, lower number is rich, higher is lean When letting completely off the throttle its normal for it to go very high on the gauge (16,17+) and should return to normal when youre back on
Tricky-Ricky
They all run slightly different, but its pretty normal to see 10AFR on full boost, the AFRs go very lean on closed throttle because the injectors are shut off.
