Road trip

Just got back from my trip to Spain in the 330 E46 and it didn't miss a beat, 2600 miles and

averaged 34 mpg.

Came home a different route than on the way down and crossed the Pyrenees from Jaca in Spain to

Pau in France, amazing scenery and for all you tunnel lovers the Somport is 8.5 km long

The biggest problem I found was parking the car, Lloret de Mar front was all pay to park spaces and a max of 2 hrs stay, the small bay at Canyelles

which was the closest beach to our villa was even worse with only a 30 minute stay between 08:00 and 16:00 but free !!

Tossa de mar was better and had unlimited parking in one car park but very hit or miss if there was a space in it

Some great beaches along that coast and nice places off the beaten track but you had to search for them

Looks lovely dunk glad the weather was on your side.

Cheers Mike the weather down in Spain was great bar for the last night when we got a thunderstorm.

Bad fog on the drive home from Poitiers to Le Mans was hard work and I pulled off the autoroute and parked up for a few hours

Glad to see you had a great time Dunk:)

I saw some of the photos you posted on Facebook, the scenery looked awesome!

Thanks Josh, driving through the Pyrenees was the highlight

Wasn't that keen on driving in Barcelona but Montjuic park was worth a look

Good decision, had some bad fog here and people continue to hurtle down the motorway like normal. Very worrying.

I was virtually driving by the sat/nav, I was doing around 40 mph and that was hard work but others were going past me and had disappeared in under

3 seconds which is simply nuts

Obviously have some kind of high tech goggles which allow them to see through fog
