foggy147
Hello, today I'm not so sure as to whether I was being a bit to bold in going through a set of lights!! I know it was stupid and I probably would of had time to stop. Basically I was approaching the below set of lights and the speed limit , they then went to amber and I basiclaly sped up to get through them, however it was definitely borderline as to whether it changed to red prior to going through. I've got a clean license for 9 years and this was just a quick dicecion and possibly the wrong one! Question is I don't recall seeing a flash BUT I wasnt really paying attention to a flash at the time. Plus it was day time so could this be a digital camera? Google searches do say this camera is a traffic camera and not a speed camera. Guess il know either way in 2 week but already stressing about it! What do you guys think with the below: This was the approach, camera on left
Havard
You should be ok. There is normally a second or so gap, after the light goes red and the camera is operational. There is also little chance that the camera actually has film in it. H.
ronttuk
thers no second gap i got caught going through a red 0.35 of a second after it changed if you havent been done in the last 3 yrs you usually get to do daytime course same fine but no points
scott.wild
That looks like the east lancs turn for Leigh? I am pretty sure there is a second delay and the one further up near the Texaco station is a speed camera as well....

Havard
I think you will be ok. I have had few, hesitant ones and I have never had a ticket.
Scott
If it comes through, ask for the photo evidence. I did years ago but didn't pay enough attention. I was already over the line in the first photo, they can't do you when that's the case. These cameras come in a hybrid mode as well, they can do speed AND lights if they have the lines on the road. Pretty sure you'll be fine though as the camera flash is like lightening, I would be surprised if you missed it
Thorin
For it to be an offence, I believe both axles have to have gone over the line after the light changes to red. So even if only your front wheels had gone over the line before it changed to red, you'll be fine.
