st3ven1
I can't get into Forza at all, every car feels the same or nothing like their rear world counterparts. E.g. the Gran turismo 6 Mazda MX5 mk1 1.8 feels "familiar" in terms of handling to my old MX5. Driving it around feels like a video game version of the real car, it would lose grip where it would in real life, have the same characteristics such as snap oversteer if you're being a hero. But guaging how fast you could go around a bend was easy. Even the Supra RZ in GT6 has the same "weighty" feel as it does in real life, I actually drive it the same in game as on the road (Ok by that I mean not touching the throttle in corners because it'll just light up the tyres and I lose time...) In Forza = DRIFTZZZZZZ, DRIFTZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Why are you turning in that corner you must DRIFTZZZZZ EDIT: I'm playing Forza 4 and Need For Speed Underground 2... NFS feels more realistic o.O I'm playing Forza 6 now and it is brilliant, I'll agree that Forza 5 was a rush job, but 6 is so much better. You can drift if you want but it takes a lot of practice to get good at it. As for the steering you can choose if you want full simulation steering or not, this will give you a very accurate representation of the cars steering although you'll need a steering wheel to get the most out of this setting as it makes the game much harder with a controller. ForzaVista is very detailed and you can explore the whole car, looking under the bonnet etc and it all looks identical to the real thing. [video=youtube;o5pfu8G0HFc?t=3m39s]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5pfu8G0HFc?t=3m39s All the cars sounds are recorded from the actual cars also, so they all sound like their real world counterparts. I particularly like turning engine sounds up and music down in the settings.
Kendo11
Yeah I'm a huge Forza fan too. I'll never forget the happy days playing Gran Turismo 1&2 but Forza is superb imo. Just need to sort myself an Xbone!
a98pmalcolm
Im just very disspointed in Forza 6. Except for the Vista thing it looks like a mobile device game. It really isnt that impressive visually. I much prefered horizan. I feel Forza is loosing its way. But each to there own.

Spunkmeyer
Still playing Grid AutoSport which was getting a little boring only after 25% progression on hard settings. Too easy or too hard (no wheel though)..... Anyways found a download for TOCA!!!! So currently blasting around in the barge 850R against the 90s tourers. Brings back memories

Timlowthian
I was enjoying the Beta of this at the weekend but I did find the controls a bit irritating. I don't know if this is because I have been playing a lot of Forza or it is just too arcade like for me. Seems to me its drift everything or nothing. Did any one else play the beta and struggle with it?

Brings back memories I've been playing Autosport with my G27 wheel, and while it's ok, I found it much more fun with an xbox controller, I find the game is a bit 'arcadey' to suit the wheel, unlike things like Asseto Corsa

You can adjust your car for more grip.. or more towards drift using a simple slider :-)
