Need For Speed 2015 :D

I have to say for the past years NFS has started to lack in customisation and good game play.

However they didn't release one last year as they have been working hard at a new one. And when they announced it with the words

" we know what the fans want, so we have bought the best of underground and carbon together, with the biggest modification system we have ever done in the need for speed series"

Now this got my attention during E3 and after seeing it at Euro gamer at the weekend and new videos I've had to pre order it, the graphics are awesome for what I have seen on PS4, with a massive list of cars and mods I'm really looking forward to a need for speed and a general car game for the 1st time in a while, especially after the new Forza 6 being so disappointing.

And oh yes... There a supra in it :D And plenty of classics from those dream cars we wanted to mod when we got our licences .

For those who like to drift every corner there's an option, for the grip gran turismo style there's an option. How you want to play is up to you and each car can be set up for how you want. With the biggest map they have done it looks to be a great game.

I know there will be some hate for NFS but this really does look a game changer for a turn around for the NFS franchise.

And some videos for you to watch. Enjoy :)

And just to see how this game compares with real pics :)

It does look good, reminds me of the NFS Underground days, although the first Most Wanted from 2005 is still the best.

Not as realistic as they claim however, one thing that always annoys me about these games is that every wheel is available in the right fitment for each car, there is no way wheel shopping should ever be that easy!

Been watching this for a while, it looks absolutely stunning and I've been waiting for another game like NFS Underground. Never understood why EA didn't do it sooner.

This always baffled me.

Underground was clearly their most loved and wanted game.

Least now they have listened to the fans.

Just hope it lives up to the hype

Marketing guy here... say you release a chocolate bar which everyone loves, you then cancel production, people complain and miss it. You release a new chocolate bar that you made for less money but market it as a similar one. It'll then become twice as popular as the first chocolate bar the first time around because of the hype/cult following of the first one.

you then cancel the disappointing new chocolate bar and bring out another cheaper one, saying it's a spiritual successor of the very first favourite chocolate bar. Hype goes through the roof and you outsell the first and second chocolate bars making much more profit due to lower production costs.

you've just made three lots of money from one product with minimal spending... and now you can re-release the original chocolate bar with new packaging for the normal price but higher markup and it'll outsell all three of the previous ones put together because the hype for the first is now insatiable.

EDIT: Speaking of marketing and chocolate bars... Formerly cancelled Wispa bar is everywhere now, right? ;)

On a side note, you guys seen the rain physics in Drive Club

Drive club is stunning... But I don't get why they make the rain drops on car bodies static... annoys me

I get that, but NFS had been declining for quite a while.

But I love the analogy :)

Agreed, Last one I bought was Pro Street which was a massive disappointment after Most Wanted... Which was a disappointment after Carbon... Which was a disaster after Underground 2.

The Crew was so promising too but it just felt dead

haha i like the marketing comment. Except games are mega money now to produce. also to make this one a gooden they made it a longer production by missing one last year.. which yes they loose money but if this one plays aswell as it looks people will buy...

I loved driveclub. In my opionion the best looking current gen racer. closely followed by project cars.. which was awful

I do like Forza in general but they rush one to come out every year and i just feel its loosing its way :-(

Don't forget that true Forza is every other year now and we have the super fun Horizon games in between.

I do love games like Horizon and NFS as simulation games like GT and Forza turn into a real grind after a while, you end up needing to complete hundreds of races just to finish them.

To be honest, nothing had surpassed Burnout Paradise in my eyes. It was insanely fast but more importantly they created a stunning interactive environment to race in that was full of scenery and colours, not the usual empty stands and tyre walls. On top of that all the big DLC updates like day/night and motorcycles were free.

I can guarantee you'll be able to double the cost of the new NFS on day one through DLC if you feel like it

I can't get into Forza at all, every car feels the same or nothing like their rear world counterparts. E.g. the Gran turismo 6 Mazda MX5 mk1 1.8 feels "familiar" in terms of handling to my old MX5. Driving it around feels like a video game version of the real car, it would lose grip where it would in real life, have the same characteristics such as snap oversteer if you're being a hero. But guaging how fast you could go around a bend was easy. Even the Supra RZ in GT6 has the same "weighty" feel as it does in real life, I actually drive it the same in game as on the road (Ok by that I mean not touching the throttle in corners because it'll just light up the tyres and I lose time...)

In Forza = DRIFTZZZZZZ, DRIFTZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Why are you turning in that corner you must DRIFTZZZZZ

EDIT: I'm playing Forza 4 and Need For Speed Underground 2... NFS feels more realistic o.O
