garetheves
Hey guys a mate of mine runs a brake calliper refurb business and has a full set of UK spec brakes , fully refurbished and painted with new seals and bleed nipples. He says they are litteraly like new. Hes looking to sell but asked me what they are worth. Im so out of the loop i dont have a clue on prices these days so figured id ask on here :-) So what is he looking at for the complete set? Cheers
Abz
At a rough guess £650? New sets I think are £1100 or near that figure. Edited September 28, 2015 by Abz (see edit history)
Scooter
New are £200 per caliper front or rear, so Abz is probably close unless someone specifically wants them in Gold they may then pay slightly more and nearer the brand new price. garetheves
Cheers for the fast replies guys. Much appreciate. If he does decide to sell you may see them appear on the For Sale section soon Cheers again
garetheves
Small update: just heard back from him, the ones hes selling are currently unpainted but will be painted whatever colour buyer wants, so they arent gold at the moment. Thats an old stock photo from a previous customer. Shouldnt affect the price though so thanks again for input
crock
there is a bloke on the facebook page, or going to your local toyota dealer and get a discount that gives you 4 brand new calipers for £645 Personally for a set or rebuilt calipers i'd only be looking at sub 450 maybe 500 if given a choice of any colour and the paintjob quality was fantastic? crock
Got my figures wrong, It was £645 for front brakes with disc and pads etc, 4 calipers are £840 So probably on the money rebuilt and painted at
