gordy.r
So, I've currently got an open diff on my jspec TT auto and I've recently picked up an A02B lsd to fit to the car. Long term idea is to fit trd internals but might do that to the open diff and fit the lsd in the mean time. Question just now is would I cause any problems in opening the diff up and getting the jet wash in there to give it a good clean out before fitting and filling with oil? Also is there a specific gasket for the diff panel or just a gasket sealant ? Thanks
suprasurrey
If your long term plan is to buy a new TRD diff then you`re out of luck, as Toyota have stopped making them now. As for jet washing the inside of the diff, please don`t! If you must wash it out, use an engine degreaser. If it were me I`d put fresh oil in and fit it, then change the oil again after a few hundred miles use.

I'm not intending on buying a full trd diff, just the internals which I've been led to believe are readily available from the state's. V8KILR
The TRD internals are discontinued worldwide. There may be a few sitting on shelves somewhere so good luck finding one.
Andrew K
There isn't a specific gasket for the diff panel just use a decent gasket sealant, When I removed mine I used Loctite black silicone sealant.
