Paul372
What's the widest tyres you can fit on a stock arch supra, I currently have 265 but there a little stretched on my rims and was wondering what I can get away with as I need some new rubber for the rear. What are people running, do you think I can get away with
Scott
You can get away with 275's depending on the offset of your wheels. I just fitted 295s onto my car. I had a 10mm spacer on my rears but I'm going to have to remove them as the tyres are a bit close now. Additionally, brand makes a massive difference to the actual outer width of the tyre. My 265s were ridiculously stretched whereas 265s are normally ideal on 10" rims.
Paul372
I have rota gtr ds on the rear 18x10 but the 265 tyres are stretched, I was wondering what I could get away with, without rolling the arches or if I was to roll the arches what's the widest tyre I can fit on my rims, just looking at my options before I commit to buy new rear tyres
Benjy
My rears are 9.5 x 19" ET35 with 275/30/19's and doesn't scrub. Car's lowered quite a lot too.
Paul372
Mines also lowered so I will probably get away with
James
I had 18x9.5 ET35 on my last Supra and put a 275/35/18 on them and required a roll. That was lowered a bit on Tein coilovers.
JackyBoi
I have 19x10.5 et30 with a 305 tyre on the rear, only needed a tiny bit of arch rolling to fit. If they were 295's I reckon they would have fitted no problem, so for that reason I say 295's
Samurai 20V
I have 10J rears with a 37 offset and running 275/30R19 without any touching.. I don't know if 285's will fit, car is lowered on Tein S Tech as well..
Abz
I had 275's on 18" wheels on stock arch & suspension, they were fine with plenty of space. I went with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's.

Something like Michelin or Pirelli will fit a 10" rim perfectly at 265. The one thing you don't want to do is assume that what you have is generally what 265s look like, then go for 275s and find they are MUCH wider than your current tyres. I'd suggest browsing around ebay for a set of premium brand part worns and having a punt on them, if you have falkens that is
cered
275/45/18 on 10.5j here, no problems (Whibitz own springs fitted which drops the rear 10mm I think)
David P
It is dependant on the wheel offset? Measure the gap between your present 265's and the arch, half of any extra width of wider tyres will go here.

Scott
Yeah I currently have 265 falkens but they are stretched, so I'm thinking of going with 275 Goodyear f1 I'm not sure you are following what I'm saying. Falken are ridiculously thin. If you bought 265 goodyears they would be MUCH wider than your current 265 falkens. As I stated previously, I had the falkens and they are notoriosly thin. I ended up going with 295s and you would think I had doubled the width

Samurai 20V
Scott is right on the Falken, they are ridiculously skinny.. I swapped to Eagle F1, the 275 was miles bigger than the 265 Falken..
Clausz
I've got 315 wide tyres on a 11" wide rim, fits perfectly under stock arches.
