I want to refurb the dash panels but want to keep it sort of stock looking and I see this stuff is like a spray on rubber?? Al Massey Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 Yes, loads of cars. My dash is done in plastidip and there's a few holes now due to rubbing etc but the test is ok. ripped_fear Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 It sounds cheap but if you want to have it look OEM buy Halfords own brand Matt black aerosol. It is almost a perfect match. Mmmmmm decisions Its sounds like a nasty route, but you know I have access to a paint shop, and after proper prep the halford can was one of the best matches and by far the cheapest. mc92 Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 I did some wheels with it, I think I did about 6 coats. You have to do a lot of coats and prepare the surface well to get a properly even and strong paintjob. They haven't peeled yet, I've been using them for a few thousand miles. Do leather and vinyl repairs and resprays and said to be excellent cannot tell the difference.
