wkdtime
when the car is on idle, i feel the car 'popping' so to speak, when i stand near the exhaust it burbles as it should and now and then the pitch would suddenly change as thought its popping or missing for a split second, i can feel it ever so slightly when sitting in the car, when driving normal or at wot it does not misfire or pop, drives very smoothly, and acceleration feels strong. am i getting to paranoid? or is something wrong? any suggestions guys? Iits a 6sp TT with aftermarket exhaust and stock engine, new plugs and recent service done, btw traction control is not working!
mikeyb10supra
are the revs sitting very low on idle???
Wez
If I hold my foot down on the throttle mine pops like crazy and spits flames out the back Might be the antilag though, but on idle it does occasionally pop as well, not as drastic though with no flames or anything. merckx
On Supraforums they were talking about some of the NGK's doing just this, normal running would be okay but not so good for idling.

TLicense
I can make my car pop at idle by increasing the fuelling, so it may be the o2 sensor is giving a dodgy signal, so the ecu adds a little more (too much) fuel and before you know it "pop". Not saying it is, just it could be. There's probably a way of checking the o2 signal. Have a search around on here and mkiv.com
