Guest Jolly
Hows the going people of the forum. My names Jolly. I've owned quite a few different cars from Rover Metros, Civic Type R's and untill not that long ago a Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. Currently running a Toyota Avensis known as Wendy, a Dturbo Pug 306 running 20psi, A Bedford Bambi and just recently picked up a long awaited Toyota Supra 95 import. n/a manual. I've really found the forum whilst in search how to bleed/burp my coolant system properly. I'm not an expert, but know my way round an engine as having worked in the motor trade on and off for many years. Although i'm a newbie, I'm sure id like to stay a member and want to know more about the paid membership...what's the script with it? Recently had the radiator replaced, flushed the system through. Bled the system with front of jack being jacked up with exhaust almost touching the ground. brought unto temperture, Felt air passing through heater hoses at the rear of engine, so vented these as as I went... No more air passing, coolant no longer dropping, temper tune holding at normal temp. fine........ Soon as I lower the car back onto the ground the system begins to pressurize again. Obvious there's still an air lock somewhere.... And air bleed screws anywhere in the coolant system i should know about. 2gzge engine. THanks.. Jolly! Admiral Donuts
Hello Jolly, welcome to the club! A years membership is £10 or £30 for a life time. Well worth it in my opinion.
