Missing rear number plate

Morning.

After driving to Milton Keynes and back from Norwich yesterday I parked back at home and notice my rear number plate was missing.

Seems it must of came of at some point, Surprised I didn't get pulled at all.

Having the rear jap bumper I need the jap style number plate.

Everywhere I've tries so far just have the normal style.

Is it worth just doing this until I can find someone to do the bigger style or am I risking a lot by driving without one or making a temporary one, I'm not even sure I should debate that.

Is it easy to find a garage to do this style or would a Wilko etc have this.

No you don't.

A UK motorbike number plate covers the hole and then you can either tape it around the edges which I did for 16 years without loss though the tape did need replacing every couple of years when it started to lift. the final solution that I got around to after 16 years was to tape around the edges and screw to the bracket behind with, I think the size was M6, stainless screws. Now that plate isn't going anywhere.

I went to my local spares\parts garage and they had the Jap size. It was a motor spares shop which did number plates as well, worth phoning anyone local to you.

Though as others have mentioned on the web it is pretty good, I ordered some recently and they turned up in 2 days.

Also it should be fitted with the two screws, no way would that come off.
