theredone
I'm looking at converting to a bmw e46 m3 6 speed getrag box I'll be doing this to my 1.5jz build but unsure what I would need to do ecu wise with the 6 speed box any suggestions??? johnny g
My first suggestion is a complete run down of what your car has/is. Mods and ECU installed? If it's manual to manual - then probably nothing It it's auto to manual - maybe something?
Scott
Depends on if the gearbox has a speed sensor. I'm guessing it'll definitely have a reverse switch, but the speed sensor always seems a bit of a catch. Syvecs can get the speed from the wheels if you have ABS so no issues if you have that
theredone
It was originally a auto but I converted it to manual! I have a 1jzgte ecu so far but I wasn't sure if I'd need a standalone for the a bmw 6 speed box
theredone
It's a t74 single turbo build so I'll be looking for around 600hp+

theredone
Yeah I'll be getting a greedy ultimate but unsure if the 6 speed would work with that and the 1jzgte ecu I have already
