krisgowing
Saw this while browsing at work. https://www.gumtree.com/p/toyota/toyota-supra.-3.0-litre.-non-turbo./1130057715 Seem to be a nice project to put a Turbo in. What are your thoughts, Seems to be a bargain IMO even if it's an auto NA.
Futue
Interesting advert; engine swap and refurb, etc but the speedo doesn't work?
mc92
That giant spoiler would be going if it was mine . It looks like a tidy enough car overall though, especially if it has leather front seats. It's a shame there aren't any interior pictures in the advert. j_jza80
Yeah, the veilside spoiler sucks. But a BGW or aTRD spoiler would look great on it. Desperately needs facelift headlights too.
JasonR24
NA auto for 4k? was expecting a manual for that money.
Snowyowl123
I've seen it and it's a shed unfortunately. Front bumper and side skirts hanging off or stuck on with expanding foam! And I counted at least three layers of poor paint down the sides.
mike33
I have seen facelift autos going for 6k -7k Na's. But very good condition and done low mileage
AndyJax
Well it would feel abit under powered and lacking performance compared to a TT would n't it Seriously might have been a good idea to have the existing engine checked over rather than do an engine swop ! Unless he's lying, the engine must be pretty sound right?
AndyJax
You'd really have to think so after swopping the engine and stripping that one down.
Futue
You'd really have to think so after swopping the engine and stripping that one down. Hmm that's what I was thinking. People don't like the veilside anyway so just add the cost of a body panels (assuming no rust, etc and if it is truly mechanically sound) and it seems decent for the price. AndyJax
Its difficult to say without seeing it in the flesh really.Snowyowl123 did n't sound too impressed with it . Taking it back to standard 2nd hand front bumper say £150 ish rear bumper £100 ish and the OEM side skirts with the brake air ducting panels say £180 for the pair if your very lucky you might get them in black saving on some re painting, plus money for any re spraying that needs doing. Then theres the question of what brand of tyres has been fitted ,what brand of brake pads and discs it has and such and such. 4K aint sounding like a decent price to me even for such a desirable colour like black.Just my tupennth.
