krisgowing
Struggling to find the correct answer online, Seems to be a bit varied. Just had my silver Supra plasti dipped white: thread is here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?322879-Plasti-Dipping-my-supra Do I need to declare this as a colour change to the DVLA for their records, police tax etc and insurers. It's technically a temporary and not full as inside the doors and engine bay is still silver. Any help appreciated.
Kendo11
Dvla no, insurance yes. Insurance may charge an admin fee (if they are tossers like Sky) to make a change to your policy.

This shocks me! I ring sky at least 4-5 times a year, and add yet more mods to my ever growing list, and I have never been charged. They once tried when I added my coil overs, but 10 minuets of conversation they soon saw the light and hey presto... free!
Kendo11
Argued with them back and forth and also allegedly got someone more senior involved and got nowhere. Have just cancelled with them funnily enough.
fastcar
Well if you wrap a car there isn't any need to inform DVLA as its a temporary thing. I'm guessing it would be the same for plasti dip, would say give them a call but as we all know, good luck with that
Ric
Sky didn't charge me for a 4k respray and a 2k bodykit.. but they charged me £40quid to declare my TRD spoiler..... Make it up as they go along.
