GTR Fever
Good day everyone, For the first time in 5 years of owning my Supra I was able to daily-drive it for a few days consecutively (sad, I know ). Anyway, what I have noticed is that under normal to medium acceleration there is a bit of hesitation and the car sounds like its sputtering until the secondary turbo comes online. When it does, it comes on hard and throws you back in the seat. If you're driving like a maniac on WOT, it works perfectly. What can cause this?? I've changed coil packs, coil pack connectors, spark plugs, cleaned IACV, checked all vacuum lines (replaced most), changed two VSV's and same issue (slight improvement but it can be a placebo effect) Car is a NA Supra with a Aristo TT and auto trans swap, running on a Supra/ Aristo hybrid loom and Supra ECU, fully decatted, FMIC, Intake, aeromotive stealth fuel pump, 3" exhaust with 15psi restrictor ring. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Cheers.
rider
Try an ECU reset. Doesn't cost anything beyond a few minutes with a battery disconnect.

safcdixon
Have you changed the gearbox oil and filter recently?
GTR Fever
Recently, no....It was changed around 1500km ago but as I said, car is not regularly driven. Gears shift nice and smooth, seems like a delay with the secondary turbo.
