Steering wheel boss questions...

So after building/fitting new engine, going through tonnes of other stuff and replacing it and adding some new items I am now at the pre MOT snagging stage.

Steering wheel that was on the car is an OMP one, the boss is unknown make but has an HKS horn button so I am guessing is HKS!

Anyway, the horn didn't work so I stripped it down (a while ago...) and found no wiring to the horn button.,

I didn't want to put the horn to a seperate button on the console which would have been the easy option so I have been trying to get it to work with the horn button. The sticking point is that I'm not sure how the indicator cancelling wheel and horn contact spinner thing go back together....

Below is some pictures of what I have got. Can anyone advise as what I need to do? I am really struggling to find much info on this or how it should go back together...! I think I need to reconnect the black centre piece with rotating centre for starters..? (because otherwise the feed wire for the horn terminal under the horn button just twists with the wheel as I turn it.

Do I need a new boss kit? Also, when the OMP wheel was on it was very tight to indicators and I kept catching them, is there a spacer available does anyone know??
