kevin smith
Does the auto box on an na work on a valve system, ie pressure builds up and the valve opens to go to the next gear.

It's electronically controlled by the main ECU which changes gears up and down based on road speed and throttle position.
kevin smith
Thanks I need to get it looked at as I don't think it's changing properly.
Chris88
First thing to check is the fluid level and condition. Drive for 30 minutes to get the fluid hot. Park the car on level ground. Pull on the handbrake (hard). Put the car in D. Jump out, pull the tranny dipstick, clean it, re-insert and pull again. The fluid should be at the hot level.
