A country without borders is not a country.

You make your points well Sanya, I am old and embittered by how my country has been degraded by PC and excess immigration as a social experiment gone disastrously wrong. Before his death my father, who fought hard for his country was already saddened his efforts and those of his fellow men were seemingly in vain as traditions were trampled underfoot and the "faggots" were on Top of the Pops being idolised by the impressionable young ;) Two generations of indoctrination by leftie idealists has seen the current younger generation accepting of all this, and unable or unwilling to appreciate our older cultural values. Us "oldies" will be gone soon enough, but I despair for the world babies will inherit, it must be very worrying if you are a traditionalist parent. Are there any left though? ;)

Chris is unfortunately right, if you're a white male in this country, you're actively discriminated against at every turn.

To start with, quota systems are idiotic. It should be the most competent person gets a job, nothing to do with gender or skin colour.

And as you will no doubt here from me repeatedly, I find the fact that we have a 'National Black Police Association' and 'Music of Black origin' awards in 21St century Britain abhorrent. Replace the word black with the word white, and everyone would be screaming racist from the rooftops.

Racism is truly alive and well. :(

I see you are very disappointed about recent developments in UK but, I don`t expect it to be comforting, this is happening everywhere in the world. Rapidly growing population (2.5b in 1950 - 7.3b in 2015) and advancements in technology dictates global changes to society, cultural values and rites. World is becoming smaller and people are trying to defend their cultural values in many ways. You are delivering the information here and probably somewhere else and try to spread the idea among fellow thinkers thus playing on logic and common sense, others blow up planes and shoot people thus playing on feelings (don`t get me wrong, i am not only talking about isis, we do that too, but blame others). Globalisation is a blessing for some and burden for others. But we do like to enjoy the best of all worlds and we will have to take all rubbish that comes with it too.

Me, I think that there are 2 options: multiculturalism is going to dominate and slowly countries will become a formality, or: global war (situation in the world now is VERY similar to hybrid between pre WW1 and pre WW2) which will set all progress back and define strict borders again (if we don`t destroy ourselves, as Einstein said: "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones") We will just have to live with it.

Good post

as for multi-cultural - what exactly do you mean?

1) do we mean different cultures living peacefully, mixing integrating together OR

2) multiple cultures co-existing in society but segregated, their own faith schools, "laws", rights, separate community centres, etc.....

I would say we have more of the 2nd in many parts of the UK with specific communities - predominantly muslim (pakistani & bangladeshi)
