Spunkmeyer
Maybe my search skills aren't so hot or I've found a gap in the market that I'm happy to share I don't have a garage and I'd like to keep the car under something sturdier than a flappy cover than just grinds dust into the paintwork!!! (Which I don't use) So imagine a rigid car cover on mini roller/wheels that you just walk over your car after parking it up. Like a car transporter without the trailer and without the head room. It's pretty a Thule roof top box but the size of a car. I've done a few web searches and they are all hanging of poles like tents. One weird transparent triangular structure that looks pointless and fixed by a double ending posh bus shelter It would take up space agreed but better than nothing at all. And I'm not ready yet for a new larger log cabin or brick garage. Any ideas? Search results? Expect price to ruin it but thought I'd ask
kitch79
It's not rigid but the first thing that popped into my mind was old Traffords players tunnel.
Hitbox Junkie
It has been done. I can't find what I was looking for but it's similar to this http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/400861211859 But difference being it was alot more rigid and it filled over and you pulled it across to store the car
T2 MSW
few examples, this on was reviewed on a Jay leno show - http://www.touchlesscarcover.com There is a MKII that bolts to the floor and retracts over the car but I can't find a link to it right now here you go - http://www.autoevolution.com/news/chinese-company-invents-cocoon-garage-that-wraps-around-the-car-video-97805.html
ripped_fear
IIRC Jamesy uses a framed cover bolted to the ground on the do-luck. Will try find the thread. EDIT- POST 98 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?268121-The-Original-quot-DO-LUCK-quot-SUPRA-thread-!!/page7 Another option is a carcoon. cered
I'd advise against anything other than a "Car-port" for cars like a Supra. Moist air in a garage or enclosed space = rust will go nuts. Even climate controlled ones promote corrosion. I'd advise to go to Wickes or your local DIY Merchant, get some cement, pergola beams and posts. Some polycarbonate sheeting to make a cover and you're sorted. It'll keep the rain and hail off your car but good airflow won't promote rust anymore than keeping it on your drive EDIT: http://www.simplelistings.co.uk/site/images/listings/ebaysales-a-nick-gray.co.uk/Carports/1345638079_Carport%20Canopy%202-full.jpg Type of thing I'd go for
Dnk
The TCC one looks pretty rubbish to me and hardly touchless if you watch the video. Any decent amount of wind will blow that all over the shop.

That carport looks great though! Whatever you go for remember to consider the effects of it standing a long time in the sun, so something with UV protection would be recommended (not that we get much sun here )
Spunkmeyer
Blimey what a response guys! Cheers.. Think I'll just have to put my hand in my pocket and get my garage built. Car port may be a pretty cheap short term option

Proper garage in place of the shed is gonna be £15-£25k at a guess by a builder. Log garage more in the region of £10k for a top notch one
supra900bhp
Something like this - https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/clarke-cig1216-heavy-duty-instant-garage/brand/clarke There is a bloke down the road with one of these and he parks his Porsche 911 in one for over the last 5-6 years and still looks good and with stands the weather well as far as I can see
