grahamc
Ok, shortly going to be setting up a new home office as I will be doing a fair bit of working from home and need some help on monitors. I will be running Surface Pro3 from a docking station, so I can add 2 other screens to it. So looking at monitors I would like to get 2x 24/27" monitors, but no idea what to go for? Any suggestions? I like the look of this:- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Samsung-S27D590CS-27-Curved-LED-Monitor-Black-silver-1920-x-1080-New-/131494306398?hash=item1e9dabe25e I would also like to be able to hook my PS3 to the 2 screens, but that is a nice-to-have VS the screens for work. grahamc
Not yet... Will also consider a single screen if that works the same just need to be able to divide it up
Wez
You could use a couple of these, connect the Surface with the DVI interfaces and run the PS3 into one with HDMI, also low response for gaming http://www.ebuyer.com/603605-iiyama-prolite-e2483hs-b1-24-hd-led-hdmi-monitor-e2483hs-b1 Not worth going 4k unless you spend a bit more, the cheaper 4k monitors are not worth, they are very very slow, the Dell ones even lag on fast mouse movement

grahamc
Thanks.... 250 per screen was the upper budget, so the ultra wide is touch expensive, but it does look good.

Great for PC gaming, not sure how it would work on a PS3 tough as its a bit larger than 1080p res Cant go wrong with dual or triple 24" for most setups Although looks like 4k has moved on a bit, these look quite nice http://www.ebuyer.com/641287-samsung-u28d590-28-4k-60hz-led-monitor-lu28d590ds-en
grahamc
May have to make a switch to PC gaming.... Im really liking the idea of a single ultrawide screen now - all your fault! PS3 doesnt support ultrawide, but if its a very good screen, most seem to prefer it anyway, due to DPI and refresh rate. Hmmmm, decisions..........
