G9RGE
Im about to buy some 440cc Injectors from a j spec supra for my 1jz conversion as they are supposedly a straight swap. I was just asking to be sure that they dont have a resister pack, they are just plug and play? Cheers

G9RGE
Cheers mate, Out of interest what boost are you running and what BHP? Mine wil be Walbro-440s-decat and fmic so just wondering what to expect.
pedrosixfour
I run at 1.2bar (17.5psi) No idea what I'm making power-wise at that boost but the engine made 320bhp at stock boost (.7bar) so I'd imagine I'm somewhere around the 370 mark now. Do you need bigger injectors to run 1.2 on 1jz? Does it need a piggyback ecu to run the injectors? I'm running 1jz and am planning on upping the boost soon. pedrosixfour
The stock 1JZ injectors would be at their absolute limit on BPU power levels so the 440's are definitely worth fitting but I run them with the stock Ecu which, as far as I'm aware, is capable of running a small single turbo and injectors fifty percent bigger than stock. I do have an Apexi Neo SAFC sitting in the car that I just haven't bothered wiring up and tuning yet.
