Guest suprageek Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 (edited) So today i hadd to change my camshaft seals as they were leaking pretty badly, I took all the timing gear off and fitted the new seals, put it all back together as per the supra trsm, all the timing marks are lined up properly, when i start the car it sounds like it's not running on all cylinders and the check engine light is on, any ideas? Guest suprageek Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 Had the coilpacks out, also the engine diagnosics was giving me code 22 the water temp sensor, the wire was broke and wouldn't start, I fixed it and it started but is running lumpy, sounds like a Subaru lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Benjy Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 Have you checked all the coil pack clips? And as stupid as it sounds, made sure you've plugged them in correctly? I'm pretty sure if the temp sensor was causing it not to start, and now it's repaired, it runs, that that won't affect it. Any codes now? Benjy Posted August 23, 2015 Share Posted August 23, 2015 Check the wiring up to that connector mate. May have broken the 20 year old wire when you moved the coil packs out of the way.
