So today i hadd to change my camshaft seals as they were leaking pretty badly, I took all the timing gear off and fitted the new seals, put it all back together as per the supra trsm, all the timing marks are lined up properly, when i start the car it sounds like it's not running on all cylinders and the check engine light is on, any ideas? It's a 93 tt auto thanks

Had the coilpacks out, also the engine diagnosics was giving me code 22 the water temp sensor, the wire was broke and wouldn't start, I fixed it and it started but is running lumpy, sounds like a Subaru lol

Have you checked all the coil pack clips? And as stupid as it sounds, made sure you've plugged them in correctly? I'm pretty sure if the temp sensor was causing it not to start, and now it's repaired, it runs, that that won't affect it.

Any codes now?

I only removed the coilpacks, never unclilled the connectors. Still the same code mate 22, it's a bodge though atm will get the proper connector off Toyota next week.

Update on this, now showing error code 14 unplugged the coilpack connectors one at a time and the engine stopped each time except when I pull the first connector the one closest to the cam gears
