Aerotop Dave
Let us know, I think there's quite a few of us who've looked at the NSX and always wondered. Why do they hold their value so much better than Supras? I assume there's fewer in the UK and that keeps the prices up a bit...?
GeordieSteve
Coz they're a Supracar rather than just a sports car. I WILL own one one day
AJI
They hold their price purely because they are very rare. The more frequent a car is the more they reduce in 2nd hand value. I've driven an NSX and they are a great drive. Acceleration isn't upto the same as the Supra TT but its the cornering and braking that is what will stand out in a car like that. I pushed one along a local road and notice on a few particular corners where the back end of my Supra would have stepped out, the NSX held firm. And it also felt a little more stable on heavy trail braking. All a tribute to the mid-engine position.
ADD
what kind of power are these kicking out? what engine...etc?
V
Very nice indeed . I'm still pondering if i should swap over for one too. Stupid as it may seem the Supe has never really taken the place or met my expections after my Prelude.... What year is it? I assume manual 3.0 or 3.2? Only bad thing i could say agianst the NSX is the look of the back end but some after market wings sort it out Its a case of justifying the price & the 3.2 are pretty pricey still I hope you enjoy it. GeordieSteve
Looking at the price I'd say 3.0. The 3.2's are still hugely expensive (cheapy is about 35k)
Aerotop Dave
Only bad thing i could say agianst the NSX is the look of the back end but some after market wings sort it out Yes, I'm not a particularly big fan of Supra bodykits but practically every bodykitted NSX I've seen looks better than the standard car. What are the interiors like? I seem to recall someone saying they were a bit naff, but the couple of pics I have seen didn't seem to indicate anything particularly wrong (if a little unexciting).
