Help finding an abandoned car

Recommended Posts

here's the next post copied and pasted from RR

"Thought I would link all previous posts regarding the not really abandoned

(supra on a driveway). ????????

So forum members who may have missed earlier posts know what's going on....

I finally had a reply regarding this, the chap who took the original picture had a ride out to call to the house,

for that I thank him for going out of his way & even more so for the unnecessary abuse he received once he knocked on the door, which was a little stronger than being called a (dick) by someone who doesn't know the first thing about you but must be sharp minded to come up with that witty one..????????. (Smiley face smiley face).(sarcasm alert) so I'm not misunderstood

He was told in no uncertain terms the car is not for sale & never has been.

He is fed up & has been for years with the amount of people knocking on from.

His words not mine.......

"Little boy racer cnuts"

"Tawts who think because it looks the way it does its for sale & will take it off his hands"

The location is Oldbury the house number is 38.

I won't put his address out on an open forum or through message as requested by the owner who said he isn't bothered what interest there is in it by owners, enthusiasts, breakers, scrapmen.

Hope that clears everything up.????☺????????????????????????????????????????"

from Confused...

Registration:L492JVP

Manufacturer:TOYOTA

Model:SUPRA SZ (NON TURBO)

Model Year:1994

Transmission:Manual

Engine Size:3000

And 'my car check' has its first registration in November '98.

If it's current look is anything to go by, it'll be rotten!

It looks pristine to some of the stuff around these parts, and people are driving them about like that ;) Thankfully there's not yet a law demanding you keep your car clean.

There isnt but if he's getting poeple knocking on his door asking if the cars forsale, abandoned then doing something about the condition would help stop that 99% would just drive by without noticing it if it wasnt in that state.

putting a cover over it would help keep it away from the public view if he obviously cant be arsed to keep its condition

Trust me, it doesn't work like that. Whether clean or dirty, if people see a car they like stood on a drive, it's only a matter of time until you start getting knocks on the door.

Probably the best thing he could do would be to put a fake 'for sale' sign in the window, highlight the cars faults and put on an enormous price tag. Oh, and 'no offers considered'. That would stop it. :D
