downimpact
as per title, I couldn't find a good way to search for this as UV is too short.

Mike2JZ
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the consensus is that it's a waste of time to apply them, especially to plastic lenses. Easier to just give them a polish when applicable.
jim
Lacquering is an option - afaik there are uv inhibitors in most lacquers
Dim Sum
I just put a layer of wax on and it seems to hold for a while.
Chris Wilson
Jeez, you'll be putting lip balm on the exhaust tip next. And soaking the air filter in cough medicine. A bit OTT old boy, a bit OTT

Noz
Lacquering is an option - afaik there are uv inhibitors in most lacquers Once it peels it looks proper gash. I'd avoid that option.
downimpact
Yeah polishing only seems to last a few weeks before they start to discolour again. Getting a few more weeks out of them between polishes would be excellent.
CASHEYE
I sanded mine back, polished them and they've been on the car for just over 6 weeks and there is no noticeable colouration. They're in direct sun for most of the day too. What do you use to polish them?
