Two sensible pieces of justice in the news.

The kid who stabbed his supply teacher in the stomach has received 11 years detention, a sensible and deterring verdict, well done to the judge! The teacher gave a very Christian speech after the verdict, quite moving in fact. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-33847293

It appears two "police officers" involved in the Plebgate affair are to face misconduct investigations. The whole thing stank of political motivation from the get go.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-33854227

As a converse, the sending of two high ranking coppers to trouble hot spots in Spanish holiday results smacks of a total waste of tax payers' money. They have no powers of arrest and intend to "persuade" drunken yobs that their behaviour reflects badly on the UK. The firm application of the birch might be more effective, done publicly :) What a waste of time, and money and just confirms what the Spanish authorities know already, British kids need some firm discipline during their formative years.

Add that to compulsory training of cab drivers to observe and report incidents of potential child abuse, and become unpaid social workers, the two good bits of news are balanced by typical modern pseudo psychological guff!
