96sz
Hi. Is there any UK spec owners out there that would be willing to Pm me their chassis number please? I phoned my local Toyota dealer on Saturday to get a price on new front UK calipers and was told they could only find the parts with a chassis number. As mine is JDM and came with small brakes, my chassis number is no good. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Dr_Doom
You shouldn't need a chassis number if you can give them the actual part number you need; UK Left Front Calliper 47750-14270 UK Right Front Calliper 47730-14260 UK Left Front Disk 43516-14030 UK Right Front Disk 43512-14200 UK Fitting kit rear 04948-14010 UK Fitting kit front 04947-14010 UK Left Rear Disk 42431-14150 UK Right Rear Disk 42431-14150 UK Left Rear Calliper 47750-14280 UK Right Rear Calliper 47730-14270 UK Brake Pads Front (both) 04465-14150 UK Brake Pads Rear (both) 04466-14040 UK Shim kit rear 04946-14030 UK Shim kit front 04945-14110

Chris Wilson
If you buy 2 calipers and a set of front pads you have everything you need if you do not want to run the anti squeal stuff. Personally I never fit them. You can use your existing hoses and bolts. Cut the Jap spec water shields neatly back to clear the bigger UK discs or remove them. Chris Wilson
I should of course have added you need the bigger UK discs, too, but I am sure you realise that!
