Diff fitting

My mate has a TT engine in his na auto

It currently still has the na auto open diff

Hes looking for an TT LSD, will the diff be a straight swap or will we need the prop, shafts etc with it too?

Also he is eventually fitting a w58 5 speed box, will the TT LSD work ok with the w58 or will ratios etc be all over the place?

As long as he gets a small case TT lsd then all he'll need to do I'd swap the prop flange over from his na diff. You'll need a thin diameter deep 32mm socket to remove it and you need to be careful torquing it back up - searching for diff flange should help with that.

Not sure in the ratios with that combo, I think David p did a comparison of all diff's amd boxes I'll have a look....
