George Cole dies.

That talented and multi faceted actor, George Cole has died, and I am very saddened to hear it. He had a wide ranging talent, and hopefully there'll be no post death scandals to read, as the media is seemingly wont to "discover" these days. He seemed a decent man and has given amusement to millions as Arthur Daley, as well as in his more serious roles. He even has his mug on someone's avatar on here

 

I have met a few would be real life Arthur Daleys, but Cole was the best!

I was quite saddened to hear of his death, too. I thought he'd died a few years ago for some reason.

Arthur Daley and Minder in general conjure up memories of my childhood and it was my grandfather's favourite show. RIP to him.

Sad news indeed but he got to 90 so had a good innings unlike the Aussies
