Bizzyfingers
Apart from relocating the power steering reservoir and longer throttle cable what else needs to be done to fit a ffim? What vacuum pipes need to be attached and what can be binned? I've only ever seen 3 pipes to the ffim. What about which throttle bodie should use? Thanks guys if you can shed any light into what needs done or the right direction to look.
berg
XS Power ffim isnt a choice you should go with if you're not sure what to do as they are far from a bolt on job They do not come with any pressure ports, you need to drill tap etc these yourself It has no ICV mounting, again youll need to cut and have a flange welded in Then throttle body, they are made for Q45 i think which will need an adapter making to mount your stock TPS, your stock throttle body also has coolant lines running to it from the ICV i believe, these will need cutting and welding closed Best to have the throttle body flange cut off and a new one welding on, maybe to use stock body or another oem one Or buy a GTE manifold and have it matched, and welded to the GE lower runners, few people have done this on here i believe
