Imagine getting your foot run over by that thing.

[knowitall] Actually, isn't the purpose of having such large tyres on the tractor unit, and so many smaller ones on the trailer, so that the pressure is spread out over a relatively large area? Therefore, it may not hurt as much as a smaller vehicle with smaller tyres ;) [/knowitall]

:smartass: The truck is a Unipower 'M' Series, prime mover, with a Cummins QSK19 19 litre, 6 cylinder diesel producing 700 bhp and 2300 lb/ft of torque!

That truck was an unsuccessful bidder for a prime mover for a tank transporter for the army, seems the M.o.D. preferred the Oshkosh.

I love big trucks! :D

I doubt it has one, it probably has a torque converter, or possibly even a hydrostatic transmission. The latter is a far better way of delivering smooth power to all drive wheels, essential in a tractive unit like that.
