Chris Wilson
His recent speech in Africa headlined as: [h=1]President Obama in Kenya: 'Africa is on the move'[/h] Perhaps he's seen the situation in Calais on his TV in AF1.... Was the irony lost on his speech makers, or were they having a bit of fun?
j_jza80
I've just heard someone from the Eurotunnel group on the wireless making a very good point. On average, 1 migrant per week is dying on the railway trying to get over. If 1 person per week were dying on the British railway system there would be uproar, why aren't the French acting? Chris Wilson
Why would or should they care, so long as they get the hell out of France? I don't think the average Frenchman will be too bothered if 1 or 101 peg it. They are seen as a blight on the nation, an economic drain and a bleedin' nuisance. The sooner they become our problem the better, from their perspective, and understandably so. Economically the strikes, the illegal immigrants and the whole mess around Calais is costing us billions. As usual, no definitive action is taken by our so called government.
