If you're doing one of those awful pointless wire tuck abortions, you may as well use the angle grinder as jamming it under the wheel arch will just be a slower way of getting myriad untraceable electrical faults for no reason Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chris Wilson Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 There are lots of small connectors around the engine and engine bay, disconnect them all, bearing in mind on a 20+ year old car many will break as they are removed. Then there are a few earth eyelet terminals, unbolt these. Inside the car there are a few big multi terminal plugs to remove, then the whole engine bay loom can be pulled out through the bulkhead hole covered by the big rubber boot behind the charcoal canister. Store or bin the loom, there's not enough copper in it to be worth the petrol of taking it to a recycling centre. Stand back and admire the now static work of art you have created....
