James
I came across this item which is available for the 350Z: http://whiteheadperformance.com/products/stillen-engine-damper-brace-307360-nissan-350z-2007-09/ It got me thinking - is anything along these lines currently available for the Supra? I can't recall seeing anything like this. Perhaps, for example, the holes in the TRD strut brace could be put to good use (though they'd probably crack...) and an adaptor plate of sorts could be made up to allow a link between the engine - via this damper - and tower brace to be created? If not, has anyone undertaken anything similar in the past?

Tricky-Ricky
LOL! just answered a question about these on the Z forum, the internals are basically a large washer sandwiched between two b its of hard rubber in a tube, love the way they try and turn this into a feature in the add," no hydraulic parts to wear or leak" LOL! Unless you actually fit a damper, all they will do is transmit a lot of engine vibration into the cabin, if you need to fit one then your engine mounts are fooked, your better off fitting uprated engine mounts....but if you want the bling and are happy with extra vibration then go ahead. herbiemercman
I have one on my merc engine straight six 200 hp diesel, if they fail you quickly have the dash vibrating and eventually you are into engine mount rubbers, just not convinced the supras need them.? James
Guys don't get me wrong I don't feel the need for it on my own car - and my engine mounts are fine - , I was just curious as to whether anyone had done it on the Supra or not, and which way people had went about it.
